SteinhausWines born from rock
The winery and the estate-owned vineyards are situated at an altitude of approximately 600 metres, in Buchholz (Pochi) di Salorno, surrounded by age-old forests. Some of our vines are as much as 50 years old and they produce mountain wines that are rigorous, mineral and extraordinarily elegant.Discover our wines
LocationImmersed in the vineyards, surrounded by the Dolomites
We are on the eastern side of the Adige Valley, in an ancient and strikingly beautiful area. A fabulous view opens up to the municipality of Salorno and the South Tyrolean Unterland, the area that stretches from Bolzano to the Trentino border from the 18th century farmhouse that is part of the estate, taking in the verdant vineyards, the majestic mountain chain and the castles built on steep rocky spurs.Discover our estate
Attention and respect for the environmentWhat guides us is already written in the earth
Profound respect for nature and the preservation of the land are at the heart of all our agronomic decisions.
We are an eco-conscious company: we use no heavy herbicides or strong insecticides, and our use of water is reduced to a minimum. To promote soil fertilisation and prevent soil erosion we use cover crops in our vineyards, making them lush and natural.Discover our philosophy
